Canvas

Get on track for class in Canvas! Canvas is our Learning Management System or "LMS" and it is where all of your online classes are held. Follow these easy steps to learn how to access all of the important things you need to succeed.

How to login to Canvas

DID YOU KNOW?

Whenever you see the binoculars, you can click on them to access a video or a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process.
Access Canvas
Update notifications
  • Notifications can be found in the Account tab
  • Check/uncheck your notification preferences for Grades, Announcements, and more
Attend class
  • Select Courses to see which courses you are registered for and click on the class you would like to access.
    Note: Courses will be made available by the first day of class
Access your textbook
  • Each course may have a different method of accessing the textbook
Go to Modules
  • All readings, assignments, etc., including their due dates will be found in your Modules and will be broken down by a weekly basis

Important Canvas Features

Grades
The Grades section of Canvas shows you the scores you have received on graded assignments.
Calendar
The Canvas Calendar shows you the due dates for each of your courses so you can view everything that is due in one place.
Inbox
Canvas Inbox is how you can talk to your professor or other students in your courses.
